Kuzicki, Sodl Repeat as IWLCA Academic Honor Roll Selections
Pair each earn honor for second-consecutive season

Grand Lake, CO – Marywood University women’s lacrosse players Kelly Kuzicki and Allie Sodl have been named to the 2010 Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Academic Honor Roll according to an announcement made today. This is the second-straight year that both student-athletes were selected to the IWLCA Honor Roll squad, which honors women’s lacrosse players that that have achieved at least junior status academically and a 3.5 grade point average.
Kuzicki, an attacker from Vernon, NJ, was recognized for the second-straight year by the IWLCA after an outstanding senior season both on the field and in the classroom. Kuzicki started all 18 games during her final season and was fourth on the team with 27 points to help Marywood to a 9-9 record and their second-straight CSAC playoff berth. In May, Kuzicki graduated with honors after majoring in Art Education and Health and Physical Education.
Sodl, a midfielder from Coplay, PA, also garnered IWLCA Academic Honor Roll honors for the second straight season following a tremendous junior season for the Pacers, helping the team establish a new program record for wins in a season. Sodl started all 18 games this past spring and was second on the team with 63 points while leading the team with 72 groundballs and 54 draw controls. Sodl, who is majoring in Nutrition, scored both the 100th goal and 100th point of her career in the 2010 season.
Kuzicki and Sodl represent two of seven student-athletes from Colonial States Athletic Conference to be included in the 2010 Academic Honor Roll. Overall, 184 student-athletes from 81 different institutions earned the recognition this year.
