Bullock Tabbed to Lead Field Hockey Program
Former assistant looks to lead Pacers to third-straight playoff berth
Megan Bullock has been namd the Head Field Hockey Coach at Marywood.
Megan Bullock has been named Marywood University’s head field hockey coach according to an announcement made today by Dr. Mary Jo Gunning, Director of Athletics and Recreation. Bullock served as the assistant coach last season for Carla Chiampi, who recently resigned after three seasons.
Bullock joined Marywood’s coaching staff in 2009 following an outstanding four-year playing career at Lock Haven University. Bullock helped lead Division I Lock Haven to four straight Northeast Conference (NEC) regular season titles from 2004-2007 and back-to-back NEC Tournament championships in 2006 and 2007.
Following her playing career, Bullock volunteered her time with the program while the Lady Eagles captured their third consecutive NEC Tournament title in 2008. Bullock also served as a coach and counselor at the East Coast Field Hockey Camp in Estella, PA since 2004.
Marywood went 8-9 in the 2009 season and qualified for the CSAC playoffs as the fifth seed with a 4-4 conference record. The Pacers were eliminated in the first round of the conference tournament on strokes by Cabrini College.
