LVC Clobbers Marywood in Last Florida Outing
Pacers' offense shut-out to end spring break trip

Clermont, FL –Just three days after running with the #2 team in the country for seven complete innings, Marywood University got shutout 17-0 against Lebanon Valley College in their final game of their spring break trip. With the loss, Marywood dropped their third straight game to close their Florida swing and fell to 2-8 on the year.
Coach Bob Fitzsimmons’ Pacers gave up eight runs over the opening two innings of play, and gave up eight more over the fourth and fifth innings as the Pacers’ pitching staff allowed 17 runs on 17 hits. LVC pitcher Laura Snyder limited Marywood’s offense all game long, allowing just four hits while striking out 11 on the day.
Ashley Dommes (Scranton, PA) was the lone bright-spot at the plate for Marywood as the sophomore finished the day 2-2. Kaitlyn Brennan (Taylor, PA) took the loss on the mound after giving up nine runs on seven hits over three innings of work.
