Marywood Earns CSAC Team Sportsmanship Award
Pacers receive honor after record-breaking season
Marywood's softball team has earned the CSAC Team Sportsmanship Award.
Aston, Pa. – Marywood University’s softball team has earned the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Team Sportsmanship Award according to an announcement made today by the commissioner’s office. Given to the team that most embodies and demonstrates the spirit of sportsmanship, this award is voted on by the student-athletes on each of the respective teams.
The Pacers enjoyed the best season in program history in which they established a new record for wins in a season after finishing the year 27-11. Marywood advanced to the CSAC playoffs as the third seed where they were upset 1-0 by Gwynedd-Mercy College in the first round of the tournament.
