Marywood Finishes 8th at Gettysburg Invitational
Rustad's 30th place finish leads Pacers in final tune-up before CSAC Championships

Gettysburg, PA – Lauren Rustad finished 30th in Saturday’s 6K Gettysburg Invitational to help lead Marywood University’s women’s cross country team to an 8th place finish out of 28 teams. The Pacers, who picked up 217 points on the day, will now prepare for the Colonial States Athletic Conference Championships to be held in two weeks as part of the CSAC Fall Festival at Immaculata University.
Rustad (West Chester, PA) claimed her top-30 finish with a time of 25:19 to lead Marywood in the 289-runner race. She was followed by a pack of Pacers led by Sarah Bauer (Rockaway, NJ) who placed 39th overall with a time of 25:47. Stephanie Bender (Albrightsville, PA) brought home a 49th place finish after completing the course in 25:52.
Colleen Spring (Binghamton, NY) was 55th overall with a time of 26:00 and was followed by two seconds later by 56th place finisher Amanda Misiak (Bellmawr, NJ).
Kelsey Dunn came home in 70th place after crossing the finish line in 26:14 while Jessica McCauley (Gouldsboro, PA) finished 117th overall with a time of 27:17. Shelby Naughton’s (Allentown, PA) 28:01 was placed her 153rd to round out Marywood’s finishers on Saturday.
The Pacers will next compete at the Colonial States Athletic Conference championships to be held on Saturday, November 7th at 10:00 a.m. at the CSAC Fall Festival at Immaculata University.
