Each summer, several Marywood University coaches offer sport camps which are run on Marywood's campus. In addition, some outside companies or coaches offer camps which are held on Marywood's beautiful campus. Most of the camps are co-ed and age offerings usually range from 8-18 years old.
In addition, Marywood coaches may offer skill clinics or other team events throughout the year as fundraising or community service projects. Please check this page often for updates on future camps.
For the summer of 2008, Marywood University is hosting the following camps, clinics and/or shootouts. Please read below for more detailed information on each of these offerings:

Junior High Boy's Team Day Camp - Saturday and Sunday, June 21-22, 2008. The camp will run from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm on both Saturday and Sunday. The camp is for boys teams, grades 6-9, and the cost is $200 per team. Two teams from the same school who enter the camp will be charged $300 total. Six games in Marywood's brand-new Insalaco Arena are guaranteed.
Boy's & Girl's Individual Day Camp - Monday - Friday, August 4-8, 2008. The camp will run from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm Monday through Friday. The camp is for boys and girls, grades 4-9. The cost is $125 per camper. The camp includes two daily games in Marywood's brand-new Insalaco Arena, daily contests, skill development, guest lectures, a Friday pizza party and expert instruction from college coaches and players. Group and sibling discounts are available.

Girl's High School Basketball Shootout - Download and print the shootout registration form here!
Marywood University's Women's Basketball's Annual High School Girl's Basketball Shootout will be held this year on July 26-27, 2008. Please note that we will schedule games around your schedules as Coach Macciocco knows this is a busy time of the year.
This event is a fundraiser for our women’s basketball team and is a great opportunity for your players to compete in the Mellow Center for Athletics and Wellness on the campus of Marywood University. The cost for the shootout is $170 per team (any additional team from the same school is $135). All games will be officiated by PIAA officials and will also have an official scorekeeper.

Pacers Baseball Camp - Contact Joe Ross for a camp brochure!
Head Baseball Coach Joe Ross brings over 14 years of collegiate coaching experience to this week-long baseball camp for both boys and girls. Ross, the longest active coach at Marywood, has been with the Pacers since the inception of the baseball program in 1994. A University of Scranton Hall of Fame Inductee, Ross has coached high school ball at Lakeland and Bishop O'Hara. He has been actively involved in local youth baseball for the past 27 years and combines a simple yet highly effective teaching method The remaining camp staff consists of Marywood University and local high school players as well as local high school and college coaches.
This year's camp will be held from July 14-18, 2008 at Connell Park in Scranton. The half-day camp will run from 8:30 am - 11:30 am and is for boys and girls, ages 7-15. For a fee of just $95, campers will receive 15 hours of expert instruction, a camp t-shirt, awards and prizes. Campers are broken down into groups by age and skill level.
Group and family rates are available, and Connell Park Little League members are encouraged to call for a discounted rate.

Pocono Cup Soccer Camp - Download and print the Pocono Cup brochure/registration form here!
This soccer camp is held each year at Marywood University. East Stroudsburg University (D2) Head Men's Coach Jerry Sheska is the camp director. The camp is for skilled high school aged players. The first week (July 13-17) is a co-ed week for boys and girls, ages 8-14 while the second week (July 20-24) is an advanced team and group week for girls only. The third week (July 27-31) is an advanced team and group week for boys only.
A minimum of 11 players from your team attending the week will qualify you as a team for that week. Each camper will receive discounts and the coach will attend the week free of charge. A staff member will be assigned to each team, and will be instructing the team in areas such as advanced technical and tactical training, functional training and restarts.
The Pocono Cup Camp offers a 4 v 4 tournament. Using our exclusive scheduling system we are able to play an afternoon of soccer where players are matched up with different teammates and playing different opponents each game. Through our own unique scoring system, we are able to come up with one individual winner out of over one hundred competitors!
The "Upper Ninety" Goalkeeper Camp runs in conjunction with the Pocono Cup Camp and all goalkeepers are invited to participate in this aspect of the camp.
